Coca-Cola’ was invented by Doctor John Pemberton, a pharmacist (a person who makes medicines). John Pemberton mixed the ‘Coca-Cola’ formula in a three-legged brass kettle in his backyard. The name was a suggestion given by John Pemberton's bookkeeper (a person who works with money and numbers), Frank Robinson.John Pemberton was born on July 8th, 1831 and died in August 16th, 1888 in Knoxville,Georgia. Not much is about his early life. Being a bookkeeper, Frank Robinson also had excellent penmanship. It was he who first scripted "Coca Cola" into the flowing letters which has become the famous logo of today.

1886 a new formula and a new name is given to Pemberton's beverage that sells for a nickel a glass
1986 Frank M. Robinson, suggested the name and penned the now famous trademark "Coca-Cola"
1985 a new formula for coke is introduced. Citizens of the world say no thanks! Doctor John Pemberton invented ‘Coca-Cola’. This drink is popular all over the world. His formula for a drink that pleases has stood the test of time.
